Aisling Wilder is a fantasy writer from Connemara, Co. Galway, on the west coast of Ireland.

Growing up, Aisling’s favourite stories were always tales of the Paranormal; from folk and Fairy Tales, legends and myth, to the stories of C.S. Lewis to Tolkien to more modern stories of elves and fairies, mystery and and magic, she was transfixed. So much so that she would think about the stories long after they were read, carrying on in her own imagination with things that could have happened after the ‘Happily Ever After’.

It was a natural progression to writer from there. Aisling has always been fond of the dark, and the creatures of the night, and is thrilled to be able to share this fascination with her readers, beginning with the vampire trilogy ‘The Books of Rue’ and continuing on with all the other books in her forthcoming ‘Otherwise’ Series.
