Colin Leonard lives in rural Co. Meath, Ireland, beneath the hills from which the ancient Samhain festivals spawned Halloween.

His debut novel, Country Roads, is Irish folk horror published by Brigids Gate Press. It follows Luke Sheridan, who moves with his family to rural Kilcross, where something old and cruel is waiting in the fields, by the ditches and on the roads.
